Mini Golfing Can Be a Great Team Building Activity
November 21, 2007 · by Tammy Adler
Last Wednesday, November 13, our team went to Vitense Golfland for a round of mini golf. It’s amazing how such a simple activity can be so much fun.
Now I’ll be the first to admit Vitense’s indoor mini golf course is geared toward a younger crowd. It amazing, though, how difficult the greens were.
We broke up into two teams, hooting, hollering, laughing, and ribbing each other as we went. We slid down the slides, piled into the Weiner Mobile, crawled into the Hippo, and had a wonderful time. Afterward, we relaxed in the lounge for some hors d’oeuvres and drinks. I finally left after two and a half hours, while half of the team remained.
To me, part of the fun of an event like this is everyone enjoying themselves, building team commaraderie while NOT talking about work. This is the sheer beauty of true team building.
