Our 2008 United Way Campaign

I’m so excited and impressed with QWANtify’s team members. This year everyone banded together to make our 2008 United Way campaign even more successful than our first campaign.

QWANtifyteam members generously gave 25% more than last year, with 100% participation compared to 85% last year. Corporately we matched team member donations at .50 on the dollar. As a result of our successful campaign, we received six United Way awards for companys with <50 employees:

  • Community Chest – Top 10 largest increase in employee giving
  • Red Feather – Top 10 largest dollar increase in employee giving
  • Community Impact – Top 10 Employee and corporate giving
  • Platinum – Average gift per employee is $250+
  • Award of Distinction – Employee campaign of at least $500 previous year with increase of 25% or more
  • Participating – You held a corporate United Way campaign

Our kick-off started with Thomas Weber, our loaned executive, talked about this years Agenda For Change. Erin Broome, from the Urban League of Greater Madison, talked about the overall importance of educating everyone in society and the effect upon Dane County when we fall short. Team members concluded the kick-off by tossing bean bags for door prizes.

I can’t help thinking our team’s United Way participation is yet another example of the great culture we’re building here; successfully setting up an environment where team members participate, are motivated, and feel their overall well being is important to management.

Congratulations, Team! QWANtify appreciates your support as does our entire community.
