QWANtify targets future expansion through diversity program

QWANtify , an information technology consulting firm located at 17 Applegate Ct., Madison, has become certified as a woman-owned business under the fifteen-month leadership of President/CEO Tammy Adler.

With recent changing corporate philosophies, companies such as QWANtify are finding that more of their clients are requesting this type of certification. Certification allows many private and government clients to count purchases from QWANtify toward their diversity program.

QWANtify has been certified by Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), the nation’s leading advocate of women-owned businesses as suppliers to America’s corporations and government agencies. This certification expands QWANtify’s visibility among decision makers in corporate supplier diversity and procurement.

Woman-owned businesses must ensure they are primarily controlled and operated by women. The certification is about a 90-day process consisting of in-depth documentation, site visits with detailed questions about who is the major decision maker for management directives, hiring, purchasing and other corporate decisions that affect the company.
“No company becomes or remains certified unless they continue to meetWBENC’s rigid standards,” states Adler. This is another value added service for our diversity focused clients that will contribute to our future expansion.”

QWANtify, specializing in delivering custom software, serves Madison and Milwaukee insurance, health care, utility, retail, education, manufacturing, and government clients.

QWANtify employs some of the industries most experienced software developers, architects, project managers, and business analysts.

QWANtify understands the complex and dynamic world of enterprise software development. Their continuous integration and test-driven development approach differentiates them from their competitors by boosting team productivity, streamlining communication, increasing software quality and minimizing risk. These best practices also reduce defects, and speed delivery of value added software, enabling the development of systems adaptable to change.
