Upper Iowa University Madison Center Advisory Committee
July 8, 2009 · by Tammy Adler
Today Upper Iowa University’s (UIU) Madison Center Coordinator asked me if I would be a part, along with other Madison business leaders, of Upper Iowa University’s Madison Center Advisory Committee.
The purpose of the Center Advisory Committee is to provide a framework and a tool to solicit input from stakeholders on various center initiatives. The committee offers a means for the University’s internal and external stakeholders to provide meaningful input so they may best fulfill the University’s mission, vision and strategic plan.
As alumni of this well-respected university, I was humbled and almost giddy to be asked to serve with other community members on the panel.
It is tribute to Upper Iowa that they involved local business leaders in shaping the future of their education system.
I look forward to blogging in the future about my new UIU endeavor.
