Team Building

Why is it so important to encourage team building within an organization?

Team building is a very important and vital aspect within organizations. It encourages innovation, empowers team members and creates long-term and lasting relationships.

Each year we have a summer party and winter party. The summer party usually includes family members. In addition, we try to creatively think of other “team building” events throughout the year.

Summer 2008

On August 11, our team is being given an extra day of vacation to attend our annual company-sponsored Brewers game. We leave our office at 8:30 for the all-important pre-game tailgating prior to enjoying the game. Go Brewers!

Spring 2008

On May 29, our team had a wonderful time playing laser tag at Ultra Zone in Madison. Afterward, everyone enjoyed pizza and refreshments.

On May 3, our team members worked through Dane County’s Project Home painting basements and landscaping around some of Project Home’s apartments on Allied Drive. We had two teams, five painting and four landscaping. Together we joined many other organizations throughout our community to help out this wonderful not-for-profit agency.

Winter 2007

Our team members worked through our local Salvation Army to sponsor a single mother and her two children for the holidays. We furnished food, clothing, and presents for the holiday.

Winter Party, featuring “Best of the Bands” music from the 40’s through the 80’s, at the Fireside in Fort Atkinson.

Fall 2007

Mini Golf at Vitense Golfland

Summer 2007

Mallards Baseball game family night and picnic.

Brewers Game team building event. Our entire team was given an extra day off to attend this event.

Winter 2006

Dinner and raffle at Cloud 9 Grille.

Our team worked through our local Salvation Army to sponsor a single mother and her two children for the holidays. We furnished food, clothing, and presents for the holiday. Every team member participated to make this event wonderfully successful.
