Team Building

Why is it so important to encourage team building within an organization?

Team building is a very important and vital aspect within organizations. It encourages innovation, empowers team members and creates long-term and lasting relationships. Current team members have initiated and formed a Community Involvement Committee to organize participation events throughout the year.

Each year we have a summer party and winter party. The summer party usually includes family members. In addition, we try to creatively think of other “team building” events throughout the year.

Winter 2009

We all gathered at Bourbon Street Grille for a Team Winter Luncheon Celebration.

Fall 2009

Strong team support for continuing participation in the Salvation Army annual bell ringing efforts brought us back to JC Penney’s at West Towne Mall. On November 21st the QWANtify team adopted a red kettle for the day and rang in the holiday season in support of the Salvation Army.

At the company pledge rally for the annual United Way fundraising campaign held October 14th, the entire team gathered to engage in goofy activities for prizes for their continued support of the United Way.

The team and their families will gather for a Mallards Baseball game on June 28th.

We had two teams, five painting and four landscaping. Together we joined many other organizations throughout our community to help out this wonderful not-for-profit agency.
