Lussier Community Education Center
QWANtify became involved with the Lussier Community Education Center Capital Campaign in 2006 helping the center raise funds for it’s new building. The Lussier Community Education Center supports after-school programming, summer-school programs, middle and high school programs, adult learning, a food pantry, English as a second language program, a computer lab, and many other programs.
The center, is being built on the grounds of Jefferson Middle School and Memorial High School on Madison’s West Side. The Wexford Ridge Community Center is currently serving as the area’s education center until the new facility is contstructed. The first-of-it’s-kind facility, enabled by chantges in Wisconsin State Law, is being made possible because of the fforts of many volunteers, local businesses, local and state governments, and the Madison School District.
